Cruisin' Classics Chester County was established in 1985 and has been supporting the community for over 32 years. We have two shows a year. The Annual Club show is the first Saturday in May and the Support the Troops show is September 23rd. Cruisin' Classics supports community charities in Chester and Lancaster counties. The entire proceeds from the Support the Troops Show are donated to the Coatesville Veterans Medical Center. A check from the shows proceeds is presented to the VA as part of their parade presentation in November.
Cruisin' Classics Chester County Car Club (6C) is a social club with a support of community and local charities. We feel we are unique in what we do over the course of the year. Like every other club we have monthly meetings, which is a short business meeting and a time to catch up. We try to have at least one non-meeting event a month Over the course of the year we make three overnight trips, two car shows, a couple of picnics, dinner night, dessert night, breakfast buffet, day at Automotive Training Center, a Reading Phillies game, holiday banquet and the occasional day trip. This is all over and above supporting the many local car shows and community charity events
Caln Village Shopping Center approached Cruisin' Classics Chester County in 2009 about doing the first show. Bruce Cobb store in the center made the initial contact and has been the focal from the shopping center ever since. Caln Village Shopping Center management and merchants pitch in and help make this show the success has been since the first show in September 2009.
Herbert Yentis & Co. has been a major supporter of the yearly shows and helps defray expenses.
